Bantam Breeds are small and compact, but they don't have any less love to give! Bantam Breeds are often a great alternative to Large Breeds (insert link) for people who have less outdoor space.

According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Bantam refers to "any of numerous small domestic fowls that are often miniatures of members of the standard breeds" [[https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bantam| 1]].

A True Bantam is any bantam breed without a large-fowl counterpart. An example of a True Bantam is the Chabo.
